Why yes, yes I am. Been about two years, if I’ve read my history correctly, and if not, it’s clearly been a while since WordPress once again changed the layout and made it more ‘streamlined’ (read: incomprehensible). I will never understand journalistic outfits’ and blog distribution platforms’ love of having a searing, white screen as the writing background, or highly minimalist page design. At this point, it’s gone right past hieroglyphics and folded back in on itself to be jumbled nonsense, like this:

Good to see a conglomerate about written content is okay with their interface being unclear.

Whatever, I can write that rant on another day. I’m just firing this one off to let my enchanting yet perplexing (because they chose to view my trash-bin content) readers know I have not fallen off the face of the Earth, though mostly because I can’t get past the ice walls. I’m working on a piece at the moment covering some silliness I should’ve covered years back, so look forward to that, and at some point I’ll give a hopefully brief update on where I’ve been, and what the plan is for the website going forward. In any case, I wish you all the best, hope that your Thanksgiving was wonderful, and that you are imbibing in the wintry spirit that is the time of Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanza/Yule.
