Problem Invention is Not Problem Solution

When you go on vacation, you expect, or at least hope, that things may improve when you get back. At least in the physical world, my roommates are gone and I have the house to myself, plus I stocked up on tons of local beers and alcoholic beverages from my home-state, so everything was looking up. Then I went on the internet.

It is awe-inspiring to see the level of professional victimization in our society these days. People are willfully throwing themselves under the metaphorical back wheels of the bus if it means they can profit off of it through being seen as a victim and a sufferer of some sort. It is also dumb-founding to see people regularly disregard all of the rules, social cues, systems and processes we’ve developed over years of experience and practice to best combat entropy and chaos because they have to feel special.

In some place of some part of this country of mine, the idea of transgender bathroom is being entertained. I say entertained, although I think it may actually be being written into law as we speak, because the people who back this and wish for this to happen are doing it for garbage, selfish reasons. If they were just honest and said, ‘Look, we want to feel special and individual from everyone else; we failed at life, we failed at school and we’re pretty shitty all-around, so this will at least help us cope with our pervasive awfulness until we turn into worm chow’, I would be fine with it because I don’t mind entertaining some extremely low-key crazy ideas provided they don’t bring about mass harm and will end up doing some good in the long run. It wouldn’t be a great reason to do so, but it would be an honest one, and in a day and age where lying is an unspoken key to success, I would gladly embrace a half-baked idea if it meant people were practicing the values we constantly preach about and then immediately not follow.

Instead, the reasons people are claiming we need a third bathroom is to better accommodate transgender people and doing so will help them ‘reach equality’. No, it won’t. All this is going to do is cost an arm and a leg, which we don’t have, and as soon as the inevitable social backlash comes because these twats didn’t actually think the entire scenario through to completion, more money will need to be spent to bring back the status quo. More importantly, it will not help transgender people ‘reach equality’ because making notches on the metaphorical belt when the movement itself has zero identity at all means all you’re doing is tallying a score for a team that doesn’t exist.

Before I begin, let the record show that like every other group I shit on and don’t give a shit about, I don’t give a shit about transgender people either. I’m sure a good number of you folks are productive and amicable, but you guys do a terrible job of policing your own community, just like most communities, groups and movements in our modern society do. If you actually took the time to develop a real identity and cast out the shitty people who are latching onto you like lamprey just so they can have a mouthpiece to shower the world in their immeasurable idiocy borne from being extremely self-conscious and generally hateful towards anyone not themselves, I would like you more, but you don’t, so I don’t. Do better.

Now then, one of the biggest problems I have with this bathroom debate is that it is contradictory. A transgender bathroom can be achieved one of two ways:

  1. Making a third bathroom specifically for people who believe they are transgender.
  2. Make one single bathroom that is unisex and unigender.

Most of the arguments I’ve heard and read seem to be aiming for the first type. Neither of them makes sense, but this one has me utterly lost. The whole point of being transgender is to become the other gender or, for those of you who desire to go against the objective grain of biology, another gender that isn’t related to your sex. Typically, this means a girl wants to be a guy or a guy wants to be a girl. So, if you’re a girl and you’re trying to play the part of a guy, then wouldn’t it just make sense to use the men’s restroom? I mean, the men’s restroom is made for males, and you are a female who is playing the part of a male, so to be truly transgendered, it would make sense for you to use the male restroom, right?

But what do you do if you don’t actually want to get the surgery to have a functioning penis and male body with tons of testosterone, pecs and potential eventual balding? This is why I say that the transgender community has no identity. Before the turn of the millennium, the word ‘transgender’ wasn’t used often or even at all, and it was because the word ‘transsexual’ and, to a lesser extent, ‘transvestite’ were still popular in the lexicon at the time. Once the 2000s rolled around and our culture became about being ultra-accepting, super politically correct and focused on endorsing any random person’s off-the-wall ‘conditions’ to prevent offense from happening, transgender became the normal term and transsexual and transvestite disappeared, which is a shame.

The reason losing these terms is a shame is because they were perfect descriptors, whereas the term ‘transgender’ is the vocabulary equivalent of a floppy noodle. The word ‘transvestite’ referred to the history of cross-dressing, or ‘drag’ as it’s known now, and the word perfectly reflects this as the pre-fix ‘trans’ meaning either ‘transform’ or ‘transition’ and the term ‘vestite’, which likely comes from the word ‘vestments’ or the Italian word ‘vestire’, which translates to the word ‘dress’. The breakdown of ‘transsexual’ is very similar, with the only differences being instead of the transformation of a person through clothing or using clothing to transition from ones birth sex to the opposite sex, it is instead the transformation of a person via sexual organ transformation or using sexual organ surgery to transition from one’s birth sex to the opposite sex.

With the use of basic etymology, it’s very easy to see why these terms worked so well. Unfortunately, since transgenderism and its community squarely falls in the ‘social justice’ category, most people who back it or are a part of it have zero idea of what etymology even is and would rather use a trash-tier term like ‘transgender’ rather than stick with words that are spectacularly descriptive simply because they appear to sound hurtful, which they of course aren’t since words can’t hold connotations or meanings until humans apply them.

To tie this back in to the main point, the modern transgender community is so rife with highly uneducated people, and as I alluded to before, this is the main reason the transgender community, along with many other social justice communities, has no identity. In trying to be super-inclusive and as inoffensive as possible to all people, they have lost the core of what made them. Instead of sticking with words that describe the process these people went through, which carries with it connotations of emotional difficulty, personal suffering and potential tragedy and trauma that must be overcome, now the community and the populace uses words that have zero meaning. The term ‘transgender’ would be fine on its own if it weren’t for the fact that modern social justice campaigners have a hard-on for turning things from a binary system to a spectrum, which essentially forces a term like ‘transgender’ to lose all of its meaning.

To better explain, let’s go over what I mean when I say ‘binary system’ and ‘spectrum’. A binary system is a system that has two answers; for computer scientists and engineers, that is a one (1) or a zero (0). In language and most common uses, it simply means something is or it isn’t. When something is part of a spectrum, it has a large amount of variant values, possibly infinite, which are book-ended by two concrete values. An example would be the gray color spectrum. The colors black and white book-end all the differing shades of grey found in between the two. Since there are infinite possibilities in a spectrum, this means that when you apply a spectrum approach to a term like ‘transgender’, it means there are some infinite number of genders you can be. This can’t be done with ‘transsexual’ because there are only two sexes: male and female. This is why the term ‘transgender’ is both favored in social justice culture and why it’s a shit term: it appeals to everyone and applies to everyone since it entertains the idea that, whatever you believe yourself to be, you are, which means if you want to call yourself space-gendered, or the idea that your gender is so vast it is almost immeasurable and cannot be encompassed, you can. On the other side, it means that the term is fucking garbage since it has no consistent definition, making it entirely useless for anyone who wants to have an actual discussion and completely takes out the connotations that come with ‘transsexual’ and the whole idea of being ‘trans’ being a process from one thing to another and not just some nebulous category that you can lump yourself under with reckless abandon.

So how does this all tie back in with the bathroom issue? Earlier I posed that the entire move was contradictory since a real transsexual person wouldn’t be worried about where to piss since they would have established themselves as having transition from one sex to the other, thus transitioning to a different bathroom in the process; I’d also honestly wager that a transsexual person wouldn’t be worried about which bathroom to go to since that person would feel confident and happy about their switch and, over time, would have nothing to worry about. I still stand by that point as it illustrates the inherent fallacy with this bathroom argument and the inherent lack of identity with the modern transgender community as it has cast away its core in order to include more people in its pursuit to join the social justice crowd.

Where the bridge between the issue and my article can be found is in the idea I alluded to throughout this piece, that idea being that these social justice-driven communities constantly and consistently sacrifice logic and intellectual processes for inclusion, and this bathroom issue exemplifies this. If these transgender people were really comfortable being who they were, which would mean they are ‘transsexual’ and not ‘transgender’, they would not need to jump through hoops and create this ‘problem’ because there would not be a problem. Instead, these people are making this problem out of thin air because they are not transsexual, they are transgender. They are transgender because the term, as already explained, is a stupidly broad term that allows people to be whatever they feel like at that moment instead of describing a difficult process brought on by a difficult personal choice. They are a group of people who are selfishly using the transsexual community as a leverage point to get what they want, which is something that signifies them as a ‘special snowflake’ to the world. This is because these people are two things:

  1. They subconsciously know they are not special, but have egos made of glass that they are trying to protect from being shattered because they grew up being told how ‘amazing’ and ‘profound’ and ‘genius’ they were by trash-tier parents, and to protect them they must do anything possible to validate these vapid claims.
  2. They are power-hungry, ego-maniacal, avaristic cunt-balls who just want more power and will step over anyone to get it.

As someone who is, by the definition of social justice types, a ‘marginalized person’, fuck you. Fuck you for being selfish assholes who can’t deal with the fact that you suck and are probably mentally unstable. Fuck you for leveraging a wonderful community for your own twisted and pointless desires. Fuck you for wasting everyone’s time taking this to the national stage and eating up time spent being discussed and watched and listened and the energy required to do all those things and more. Fuck you for making it necessary for me to explain why you are garbage and why the transsexual community has every right to kick you to the curb, which they won’t because they are far too nice and they are far too hopeful that if they tolerate your shit, you’ll help them get out from under the shadow of being beaten and real oppression, not this fake ‘bathroom oppression’ that you waffling social justice cunts are implicitly crying about and will probably actually cry about soon. Fuck you, you fucking fakers.

I can’t believe I’d see the day when I agreed with Holden Caulfield. Fuck this and fuck you guys.
